Harajuku Style


Alternative fashion consists of different styles, with some rising from Japan. Let's take a look at Harajuku fashion.
Surprisingly, Harajuku style has been in existence since the early 1980's, and it became known in the West around the 00's. Harajuku style is named after Harajuku Station in Tokyo. In the beginning, the local youngsters would occupy the streets dressed in unique and colorful outfits. The first craze was mixing traditional Japanese attire with western clothing. The message these Harajuku kids were sending is that they don’t give a damn about mainstream fashion. They would and can dress as they wish.
Anybody who loves to have fun with fashion can wear it! If you are a conservative dresser or like classical designs, you might not be fond of the Harajuku look. However, if your inner kid loves to come out, go crazy and play dress-up, then it's definitely something that you will be into. In Harajuku, it's perfectly okay to dress like a 5-year-old and have as much fun dressing up.

Dressing the Harajuku Style
Harajuku style is a mix of all the well-known Japanese sub-styles, for example Sweet lolita, Gothic lolita, Visual kei, Cosplay, Decora, Gyaru, cutesy fairy kei and  punk rock clothing .Traditional Japanese garments like kimonos and wooden sandals have been infused into the style since the beginning.

Secondhand or retro and vintage clothes are also great to mix up your look. Customized or self-made items are great. Pick what you please and mix everything together. In Harajuku style, more is more, so layering up lots of clothes is fine. In Harajuku, you must be creative and dress exactly as you wish, not shying away from your imagination.

Accessorizing the Harajuku way
Forget about tasteful accessorizing and wear eighties trashy junk, kids plastic jewelry and anything you can grab. They do not have to match but the more utrageous, the better. Do you still have that colorful backpack that you wore when you were 10? Or perhaps you can borrow the corny pink handbag that your mom wore in the eighties. Those would be amazing accessories.
Crazy hairdos are great and any hair color goes. The current trend is pastel or neon. Eye contacts are also a part of the Harajuku. From brown colored to blue or red, your eyes can also be part of the fun! 


Lastly, don't take it too seriously
Harajuku style barely has any guidelines so one can wear whatever he/she wants without worrying about fitting in or whether it looks normal. That is the point of the whole Harajuku look. Even if it's often considered as a teenage thing, there are no age limits. You don't have to consider if your clothes match or not – if you like your outfit, then it is good enough. You don't have to adopt a certain style or follow any fashion, you can mix them all together. You can dress totally different every day – this style is all about self-expression.

ABOUT MY FUTURE PLAN


If we talk about future plans, of course everyone has it. So, i wanna talk about my future plans. But i think it’s just like telling my dream.

Ok, the first thing I want to do is I want to finish my college with the best grades and with the best skills too. I know my skills are less but I will keep trying to add my skills.

Second, I want to work in a big company. I don’t know what kind of company and where..... but I want to be able to work in that company so I can reach one of my next dreams.

My next dreams is i want to take a fashion design course or if I can I want to go to college at Lasalle College Intenational Jakarta or ESMOD Jakarta or other fashion schools in Jakarta or Paris. I know it's so different from the majors I'm taking now but it was my dream before I took this majors. I will not waste my time, so I will not regret it later.

That's just my future plan or my current dream, for 5 or 6 years. Actually there are still many plans to think about but for now maybe that's it. We do not know what will happen in the future. So I'll just follow the path that God has given me. Only God can guide me to right way.

MY DIFFICULTIES IN LEARNING ENGLISH

The English language is one of the most popular languages to learn, perhaps the most spoken language around the world is English, and many people choose to learn the language simply to place them in a better position to secure work, or communicate more effectively with more people from around the globe. English might be a popular language to learn, but this doesn't necessarily mean it is a simple language to master, there are many challenges people face when learning English.

Actually, i don’t really like this course, and i rarely speak English, maybe that’s why i found so many difficulties when learning English. The hardest part in learning English is speaking. Why is speaking English so difficult? Most of the time, the difficulties lie in listening, pronunciation, vocabulary and confidence. Writing in english is also one of my difficulties.

What I can do to overcome such difficulties are :
  • ·         Practice listening every day, like listen to an English song or watch a movie with English subtitle to improve my English, make a friend with native speakers, talk with them and learn from them.
  • ·         Read an English book and learn from the internet. a Grammar book will be very helpful during the learning process.
  • ·         Practice writing a sentence

The point is, you have to trust your self and dont be afraid to try something new. Just be confident, believe that you can do it and do better than you ever was.

PENGANTAR STATISTIKA

DISTRIBUSI NORMAL

Distribusi normal merupakan suatu alat statistik yang sangat penting untuk menaksir dan meramalkan peristiwa-peristiwa yang lebih luas. Distribusi normal disebut juga dengan distribusi Gauss untuk menghormati Gauss sebagai penemu persamaannya (1777-1855). Menurut pandangan ahli statistik, distribusi variabel pada populasi mengikuti distribusi normal. 

Distribusi normal pertama kali diperkenalkan oleh Abraham DeMoivre (1733) sebagai pendekatan distribusi binomial untuk n besar. Selanjutnya dikembangkan oleh Pierre Simon de Laplace dan dikenal dengan Teorema Moivre - Laplace. Laplace menggunakan distribusi normal untuk analisis galat suatu eksperimen. 

Suatu data membentuk distribusi normal jika jumlah data di atas dan di bawah mean adalah sama.
Distribusi normal berupa kurva berbentuk lonceng setangkup yang melebar tak berhingga pada kedua arah positif dan negatifnya.

Ciri-ciri kurva normal :
A.      Bentuk kurva normal
1.      Menyerupai lonceng (genta/bel).
2.      Merupakan suatu poligon yang dilicinkan yang mana ordinat (sumbu tegak) merupakan frekuensi dan absisnya (sumbu alas) memuat nilai variabel.
3.      Simetris.
4.      Luas daerah merupakan nilai rata-rata (mean).
5.      Luas daerah sebelah kiri dan kanan mendekati 50%.
6.      Memiliki satu modus (disebut juga bimodal).

B.      Daerah kurva normal
1.      Merupakan ruangan yang dibatasi daerah kurva dengan absisnya (sumbu alas).
2.      Luas daerah biasanya dinyatakan dalam persen atau proporsi.




Distribusi normal dipengaruhi oleh dua parameter, yaitu mean dan standar deviasi.
Mean menentukan lokasi pusat statistik dan standar deviasi menentukan lebar dari kurva normal.

Pengantar Statistika

1.      4 orang sedang bermain kartu bridge. Jika dalam 1 putaran permainan bridge, seluruh  kartu bridge (tanpa kartu joker) dibagi habis diantara ke empat pemain. Hitunglah berapa peluang seorang pemain bisa berharap untuk memperoleh 5 kartu sekop, 4 kartu hati, 3 kartu wajik, dan 1 kartu keriting?

2.      ¼ dari penduduk perumahan taman indah membiarkan pintu garasi mereka terbuka di saat mereka keluar rumah. Kepala Kepolisian menghitung 5% dari rumah dengan pintu garasi yang dibiarkan terbuka akan mengalami pencurian. Sementara rumah dengan pintu garasi yang tertutup hanya 1% kasus pencurian.
Jika diketahui sebuah garasi mengalami pencurian, berupa probabilitasnya bahwa pintu garasi yang di biarkan terbuka?

Jawab   :

1.      -5 Kartu Sekop : 5/52
-4 Kartu Hati : 4/52 = 1/13
-3 Kartu Wajik : 3/52
-1 Kartu Keriting : 1/52


2.      Probabilitas pintu garasi yang dibiarkan terbuka :

> X= Seberapa banyak jumlah yang mengalami pencurian saat pintu garasi dibiarkan terbuka
> N= Seberapa banyak kemungkinan penduduk membiarkan pintu garasi mereka terbuka di saat  mereka keluar rumah

> P(E) = ¼ / 5% =  ¼ * 100/5 = 100/20 = 5
